Completed LO's for Up & Running

My niece Lindsey has become engaged! She is in love with the Wizard of Oz (and Roy, too) and her wedding reception theme is The Wizard of Oz. I needed a little child picture of her and of Roy for the 2 red glitter rectangles. I had a lot of trouble with the text on the circle top.

Week 4 Lesson 1

This LO required turning the photo to Sepia. Actually, I don't care for it in Sepia. So, I created a second with the photo as is...,

I think the tones in the photo are better suited to this paper.

The last LO for Up and Running was creating a trapezoid photo block.

Michael's girlfriend's little girl.

A couple of other things I have been playing around with...,

Redfield Bas Relief

Cottage Arts Tutorial Creating Art Work...,

I cannot get the original photo the intensity that I would like. Have to work on that.

I found both of these on Sunny's 12 of 12 Blog.

Getting Caught Up

This is Lesson 1 of Week 3 of the Up & Running course . Even though it's week 4 in the course, I need to catch up from last week. One more LO to go before I begin the current week.

Saturday I registered for the advanced class at JessicaSprague.com.The class begins next Monday! Also, ACDSee is going to offer a class in organization; I need that! Only 60 people will be able to enroll so I will have to be right here at the keyboard ready to click.

Yesterday, Easter Sunday, we had a great day with Chris, his girlfriend and her 2 children. The kids had a great time swimming.

Off to do Week 3 mid-week lesson.

Have a great day!

Layouts Since I Last Posted

I love the Up and Running Class at JessicaSprague.

If you ever get a chance to take one of her classes, do! They are outstanding. This is my second one and plan to sign up for a third on March 24.

Here are LO's I have completed for the new class.

I am working on the mid-week one for this week and I will post it when I complete it.

Here is the mid week challenge.

I used Liv's method for keeping track of the credits as I scrap! Great help!

I am loving a new tutorial at Kimi Kreations Blog. I am now addicted to textures!

Happy Day!

I have a much better internet connection in Deland. This is sort of a day off; back to work tomorrow. We did partially set up and will finish tomorrow.

I did a LO to support Liv who is in the apprentice program at Little Dreamer Designs. Otherwise, I have spent the day trying to catch up; that won't happen tho. I am totally not participating in U&R yet. I have introduced myself and checked in a couple of times. I will probably wait until I am home to begin the course. It is difficult to break away from the General Forum..., Oh, well.

Here is the LO.

The extraction tool in PSE6 is truly awesome!

I met Jada Saturday. She is quite the charmer!

Have a great evening!

New Header

I am out-of-town for Bike Week. My internet connection is not DSL. Had to change the header. Wish I had brushes and overlays to complete the header.

Beautiful weather since we have been gone. We went for a ride through the country today n Marion and Lake Counties. The roads were nice and curvy with little traffic.

Tomorrow we move to Deland for the auction and show there.

Goof on the header which I hope I can fix---, 'doin rather than doin'. Ugh!

Today the Up and Running course with Jessica Sprague began. I will probably wait until I get home to start unless I have a faster connection in Deland

Have fun!

How Cool is This!

I love this; reminds me of the picture I took in Chicago of Chicago spelled using Chicago landmarks.

Fun!
